Can you send that Free Matter? I thought that was restricted to specifically accessible-format materials by NLS or Braille packages.
Not to be a grinch, and I know it's gotta be small potatoes for shipping those, but people try as hard as they can to cut legitimate things, and one instance like this getting out on Fox News or anyplace else would turn the masses of barely-making-it mob against us like there's no tomorrow. Careful with the consumption of public resources, I say, just as you would be careful with decaying dynamite. If it's legit it's legit, but I'd check first. The masses are a restless and very unhappy bunch, especially in the past few years. One exposure on Fox and my money's on they'll shut that bad boy down like it never opened. Not a moralist argument, a protect-our-collective ass argument.
You may have the right of way when a freight train's comin, but it's bigger than you.

I checked with the main post office in D.C. and the main one in Minneapolis and as long as I'm blind, then I can send stuff free matter. There are stamps for us to use on mail for that purpose, so this is legit.

Ah well, legit is legit ... and you did your research first, so hats off to ya.

It was a good question though and just so there's no confusion, the stamps don't come from the post office, but you can buy them *self inking kind* from some of the blind product websites out there or your local state services store in the US. I don't know about outside the US, so that might need to be researched a bit.
